This community art project is designed to help us, as Jews across New Hampshire, process, remember, and begin to heal together from the trauma of October 7 and all that has followed. Participants will paint individual heart-shaped canvases to express their emotions through color, and together we will assemble them into the shape of a Calanit כלנית (the national flower of Israel), symbolizing our shared grief, resilience, and hope. The event will also feature moments of music, prayer, and storytelling. Temple Israel is a participating partner in conjunction with the JFNH and our own Reb Rosalind will attend and present a reading, song, or story as part of the program. This gathering reflects our entire statewide Jewish community, bringing together individuals and families to express their hearts and build something meaningful together.
